Today is the last day the Santa Shop will be open. The shop is located in the 7th/8th grade building and will remain open until 5:00. If you wish to shop with your child after school the back door to that building will be unlocked.
Just to clear up some confusion. The game for tonight 12-12-2019 is away at Pansophia. The time the players need to be there by is 5:00 with the game starting at 5:30. Sorry for the confusion and I hope to see everyone there.
Join us TONIGHT for our annual McTeacher Night at the Hillsdale McDonald's. HPS staff will be available inside of the restaurant from 4:30-7pm to hand out prizes, sell coupon sheets and assist with serving food. 20% of all INSIDE sales (not drive thru) and all proceeds from coupon sheets go directly back to Hillsdale Preparatory School. Stop in tonight and see the amazing student art work as you enjoy your meal.
Do you still want to take advantage of Parents' Night Out, but you forgot to sign up? No Problem! You can pay at the door. Drop-off time will be 5pm and children must be picked up no later than 9pm. The cost is $15 per child, and $10 for each additional child in the same family. Siblings are welcome, as long as they are potty trained.
Tomorrow December 6th is a popcorn Friday. In addition, students can pay $1.00 to wear a hat to school tomorrow. This is a fundraiser for the 8th-grade trip to Washington D.C. However, students are still required to wear their uniforms tomorrow.
Santa's Secret Shop is coming to Hillsdale Prep next week! (12/9 thru 12/12) A schedule is coming home with every child today, so look for it in your child's back pack.

Do you need a night away to go shopping, have a date night with your spouse or to just relax without the kids? Sign up for Parents' Night Out! Drop off the kids this Friday 12/6 from 5-9pm to enjoy a night of food, games and activities. Dinner will be provided.

Do you still have all the receipts from your Thanksgiving grocery shopping? Did you remember to scan them into the Box Tops App? There is still time if you forgot! You have 14 days to scan a receipt into the app. If you need help with the app stop by the office and we are happy to show you how easy it is. If you don't want to download the app feel free to send your grocery store receipts to the office and we will scan them for you. This is a quick easy way to earn money for the school. Friendly Reminder: Tomorrow is picture retake day. Students need to bring their original pictures with them if they want retakes.
Tomorrow will be our annual Thanksgiving lunch. Parent Advisory Committee will be preparing french toast and sausage for all students. Your child does NOT need to bring a lunch tomorrow (Tuesday 11/26).
A friendly reminder that Wednesday 11/27 is an early dismissal day. Students will be dismissed at noon. There will be no after school program on Wednesday.
Monday 12/2 is a Professional Development day. There will be no school for students.

Friendly Reminder: Tomorrow is casual day, popcorn Friday and pop bottle drop off day. Popcorn is $0.50 a bag. All pop bottles should be dropped off in the office.
Student Council will be sponsoring a Penny Wars to benefit the music and art programs. The war will begin Monday, November 18th and end on Friday, November 22nd at lunchtime. The winning team class will earn an ice cream party. A flyer will come home today.
We regret to inform you that the Fall Formal Dance scheduled for Friday, November 15th has been canceled. We did not have enough people sign-up to attend the dance. If you prepaid your refund will be sent home with your student today. Student Council

K-3 Field Trip Reminder:
- Stidents should arrive in uniform.
- Students requiring booster seats should bring them when they are dropped off this morning.
-Chaperones should arrive by 8:45 and come to their child's classroom. We will plan to depart at 9:00 A.M.
HPS has an Angel Tree in the office lobby. The tree will be up until Monday, December 16th.
How It Works:
If you would like to give back to the HPS community during this holiday season, simply visit the office lobby and take an "ornament" from the tree. White angels are for children, yellow stars are for classrooms. Each ornament has a letter or number on the back. Please wrap all gifts and write that letter/number on each gift. Please drop off the labelled gifts to the main office no later than Tuesday, December 17th.
We have not had very many people sign up to attend the Fall Formal. The Fall Formal is a family dance and is not just for students. If we do not have a minimum of 50 people attending then we will be forced to cancel the dance. Please send in your sign-up sheet by Thursday morning if you are planning on attending. Extra sign-up forms are in the office. Also, you can turn in the form without payment and pay at the door if that is more convenient for your family. Anyone who has already paid will be reimbursed if we cancel the dance. If we do cancel we will send out a notice Thursday afternoon. Thank you - Student Council
